Vaginal Infections and Cystitis
Vaginal discharge is an unpleasant symptom that causes concern and discomfort. It may be normal or arise from:
• Vaginal bacterial infection
• Sexually transmitted disease
• Excessive cervical discharge
• Polyps in the womb
We can investigate and treat these problems.
Cystitis is a frequent problem for young sexually active women as well as post menopausal women and can be quite debilitating. We can investigate, diagnose and give you a management protocol.

• Heavy painful problems
• Scanty irregular periods
• Lack of periods
Problems with periods may arise from stress, dieting, Hormonal imbalance, polycystic ovaries, Fibroids, Endometriosis, Premature menopause.
We can investigate and diagnose these problems with blood tests, and ultrasound scan, as well as advise on management.
Abnormal Uterine Bleeding

Vaginal Pain & Irritation
We run a specialist clinic that diagnose and treat pain in the vulval area.
The vagina and vulva are particularly sensitive to:
• Viral infection with HPV
• Irritants causing eczema
• Candida or thrush infections
• Dermatological conditions
• Burning vulva syndrome
Symptoms such as burning and itching should be investigated. Swabs and examination can be done and treatment offered.
